Oppo has launched a new smartphone A-series, the A37, in China. Price CNY 1,299 (approx Rs. 13,300), Oppo A37 is now available for purchase in China through the official store of the company. The company has so far not revealed plans to launch Oppo A37 in the market.
Oppo A37 has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display and is equipped with a pixel density of 293ppi. This smartphone runs Android 5.1-based ColorOS 3.0 Lollipop and is equipped with dual-SIM support (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM). It will be available in China in Gold, Grey and Rose Gold color.
Under the hood, Oppo A37 is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core 1.5GHz clock paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. This handset supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The connectivity options include GPRS / EDGE, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS / A-GPS, USB-OTG, and Micro-USB. Oppo listing confirms that the smartphone A37 will support Indian band LTE.
Oppo A37 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f / 2.2 aperture, and a full-HD video recording (1080p). There is a 5 megapixel camera on the front of the board as well. It is powered by a 2630mAh non-removable battery. Measuring 143.1x71x7.68mm and weighs 136 grams.
Chinese company earlier this month launched a new A59 smartphone in China. Price CNY 1,799 (approx Rs. 18,500), Oppo A59 is available in Gold and Rose Gold color options. One of the main features of the Oppo A37 is supported VoLTE (voice over LTE).
